Welcome to the Bahamian American Association, Inc., (BAAI) (formerly the Nassau Bahamas Association) website!

We are grateful for the insight of the early founders of the Nassau Bahamas Association whose vision of PERSEVERANCE, TENACITY, and COURAGE, led to the creation of an association wherein a sense of community and Bahamian Identity in New York was fostered and maintained.

The members of BAAI are committed to growing this sense of Bahamian Spirit and community in the Tri-State area and particularly, in Harlem where the Association is housed. We invite you to join us in this endeavor. With your help, we can keep the values and visions of our founding fathers alive.
